This calculator takes in a batch of Approval Voting ballots in form of a CSV file and calculates the winning candidates acording to Sequential Proportional Approval Voting with Automatic Cosă Seat Assignment (Talossa-SPAV). For an explanation of basic SPAV, click here. In Talossa-SPAV, candidates may win more than one seat, depending on turnout.
This implementation comes with two different deterministic tie-breaking methods, each simulating a different style of party list system.
