This calculator takes in a batch of Approval Voting ballots in form of a CSV file and calculates the winning candidates acording to Sequential Proportional Approval Voting with Automatic Cosă Seat Assignment (Talossa-SPAV). For an explanation of basic SPAV, click here. In Talossa-SPAV, candidates may win more than one seat, depending on turnout.
Note that in this implementation, ties are broken by electing whichever candidate is listed first in the ballot. This is to simulate party lists, and to keep the method completely deterministic.
